Behind Closed Doors is a missional business started in 2009. Through BCD, I provide Inspirational/Motivational speaking, Professional Development, Community Education and School Events. BCD exists to bring into the light the issues which happen behind closed doors, through the sharing of education, research, and experiences - helping all people overcome their past, find healing and purpose in their life by finding their life in God.

DEBORAH'S STORY
Throughout my life, I have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, school bullying, anorexia, bulimia, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, sexual addiction, sexual assault, rape, gender confusion, multiple car accidents, attempted suicide, workplace bullying, near financial ruin, significant grief and loss, chronic medical problems as well as a nervous breakdown... yet I have survived it all! Today, my most prominent diagnoses are Chronic Fatigue, chronic and complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, an Obsessive Compulsive Personality, and traits of Disassociative Identity Disorder. It is no small miracle then, for someone like me to become a Christian, let alone to still be in relationship with God nearly two decades later! It is with educational insights and a holistic understanding about these issues that I share the hope, faith and promise I have for my future. This is especially true considering it was only after a catalyst in 2009 that I found the answer I was looking for as to why an all-loving, all-powerful, ever-present God could allow such suffering.
